I had just turned around to grab one of Mason’s t-shirts from his dresser drawer for Mikey to wear. Mikey was running around in the bedroom awaiting one of big brothers oversized t-shirts and his cloth diaper with its cute pattern of
elephants on it. Yes it was one of those days and I am one of those mamas who will throw an oversized t-shirt on my baby and call it pajamas. That is when it happened. My eyes quickly could not avert the nugget of poop my son Mikey just dropped for me on the carpet. Giggling ensued as I tried to catch him before he would leave me another present. Let me tell you that this baby has alligator rolling for a diper change into an art form! Got it! Diaper was on and all was well with the world again. My son hopped on his Little Tikes Giraffe and rode off into the sunset with not a care in the world.
My hubby and I look at each other and laugh at the silly events of the evening. I realized this nugget of truth. My kids are growing up and I need to cherish these fleeting moments. Nuggets and all.
